Dr. Catherine Woodhouse is a dual board-certified physician in both Internal Medicine and Pediatrics practicing in the Atlanta metropolitan area.
She graduated with honors in Organic Chemistry at Bryn Mawr College, earned her MD degree from the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences in Bethesda, MD, and completed her combined Internal Medicine-Pediatrics internship and residency program at the Medical Center of Delaware.
As a uniformed medical officer in the Public Health Service, Dr. Woodhouse crisscrossed the country for eight years providing primary care to a diverse array of medically underserved populations.
In the midst of often formidable and resource-poor environments, she found refreshment in writing and discovered her knack for wackiness. She happily settled in Atlanta upon fulfilling her active-duty commitment.
She remains enveloped by the great love of her God and of her close-knit family and friends. She enjoys eating, laughing, working out, watching football, and attempting to play golf, among many other joys of life.
Dr. Woodhouse’s heartfelt desire is to “Edu-tain,” to communicate information in a way that will make both her readers and her audiences smile. Party Gown: A Doctor’s Laughable Advice will be the first of many endeavors to this end.
